There may be instances where you may want to close your account with GlobalLinker. If you are the company admin, you may visit your ‘Settings>Close Account’ to close your account.
Accounts will be closed by you only. GlobalLinker’s support desk cannot close accounts on your behalf.
Red Flags:
You may be unable to close your account if certain items in your account are open or not closed. These items will be highlighted as ‘Red Flags’ (icon)
Store
Orders
- All orders must be fulfilled and closed.
- If you have a store and you have open orders, you will not be able to close your account.
- To close your open orders, visit your orders page in your Seller Panel and mark the orders as delivered.

Business Profile
Events:
If you have an upcoming and published event, cancel the event and close your registrations. Visit event page and scroll down to published events - click on ‘Unpublish’
Do note, if your event is a paid event, you must ensure all refunds are passed on to the registrants. GlobalLinker is not responsible to refund any amounts on behalf of you.
Company Network:
Your company must always have an active Administrator who manages the business profile, store and employees linked to your account.
To ensure this; transfer your Admin Rights to another employee, who can manage the company network, profile and catalogue or store for your company account.

Groups:
If you are a group owner, one must transfer their ownership rights to another group manager. As a group owner of a group, you have two options:

Transfer ownership rights to another group member.
Note: Group ownership rights can be transferred to a Group Manager only. Refer to this step-by-step guide to Appoint a Group Manager and Transfer Ownership Rights.

Delete the Group via your Group Settings Page. Read this FAQ to know how.
If the above is not an option, you may remove all the employees in your company network.
Once your account has been closed, it cannot be reopened or reinstated, so we recommend you to take your required steps
