Aruna decided to give full reign to her talent, when she established Kreative Konsultants, a corporate gifting firm. She realised that corporate gifting has become an important way of strengthening and establishing a relationship of trust and appreciation between a company and its employees and clients and that she could really make a mark in this sector with her ability. Aruna’s forte is her keen eye to source creative gift items that are customised to her clients’ requirements.

In conversation with GlobalLinker (GL), Aruna Budhiraja (AB) shares her journey of establishing Kreative Konsultants and her vision for the company.

GL: Tell us about your business and how it came into being.

AB: Kreative Konsultants has been a prime mover in the corporate gifts segment ever since its inception 10 years back. Ours is a customer-focused and dedicated organisation catering to the corporate sector.

Thinking out of the box, creating and working with new ideas has always been my passion. Working with creative ideas and putting forward my creativity in a different manner has led to the formation of our company Kreative Konsultants. With a strong background of sourcing from the domestic as well as the foreign market, we are able to supply superior quality products with an unbeatable pricing to our clients. We can create customised gifts and standalone gifts for any budget.

As Charles Schwab rightly said, “The way to develop the best that is in a person is by appreciation and encouragement”. This holds true in all spheres of our lives. Gifts are low cost investments with high returns. For a job well done, for service above and beyond, for a timely helping hand, show your appreciation with a gift. GL: What are the challenges you have faced in establishing your business?

AB: With many established players in the market, big, small, online and offline, our organisation had to initially navigate treacherous waters. But because of our strong sourcing background and ability to comprehend the needs of our clients we grew. We provided unique gifting solutions. Our adherence to delivery timelines, quality checks at every stage led the way to our success. Our philosophy is reinforced and strengthened every time we see a happy client.

GL: What is the USP of your business?

AB: Our biggest USP is the understanding and personal touch we bring to all our clients. We truly believe that our customer is king so we strive for overall customer satisfaction.

We provide unique gifting solutions – offered to our clients keeping in mind occasions, timelines, budgets, quality. This means quality checks at all stages and timely delivery.

GL: What are some of the milestones of your business?

AB: In a short span of time we have been able to build trust with our 100+ clients. We have been listed as a preferred vendor for corporate gifting with top notch organisations.

We have grown more than ten times in terms of revenue in the past 10 years. We are now thinking of setting up our office in other cities of India.

AB: Be creative in whatever you do and always believe in yourself. You will probably have a bad week, month, or even quarter when starting. But an optimistic approach and believing in your idea will never let you down. The start will be slow but the growth exponential. If you keep all the negative ideas at bay with only your target in vision, you are sure to walk down the path to success.
