In conversation with GlobalLinker (GL), Navneet shares his business journey.

GL: Navneet, tell us how you came to establish your business.

Navneet: Mylex Infotech Pvt Ltd came into existence on 9th March 2017 with a capital investment of INR 10 lakhs and from there on, there has been no stopping or looking back for our company. We provide all kinds of expert professional services under one roof. Our wide range of services include legal, taxation, financial and IT services to name a few. We are a boon for startups and business owners as all their initial business needs are easily addressed by us. As our services are available at one place it goes a long way in cutting down costs.

We have received recognition under the Startup India initiative in 2017 by the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP). Presently the company is based out of a government allotted space at the Software Technology Park of Mohali.

GL: What has been the most effective way of raising awareness about your business?

Navneet: For us, social media is the widely used method to syndicate content and increase our business visibility. We have created our company profile on various platforms like GlobalLinker, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Just Dial etc through which we interact with our clients across the globe.

GL: What is your leadership style?

Navneet: My leadership style is of a participative nature. We include all team members like company secretaries, IT professionals, chartered accountants, lawyers in the creative thinking and decision-making process so that there is greater ownership and the company flourishes. As a result, team members tend to have high job satisfaction.

GL: You are a Linker. Which offerings of GlobalLinker have helped you?

Navneet: GlobalLinker has helped me to promote my business product and to explore more opportunities. I especially enjoy growing my network and contributing articles on the platform.

GL: What advice would you give to a new entrepreneur setting up their first business?

Navneet: Understand the risks and rewards of the business before setting it up. Make your business a visible presence in the community by advertising on social media. Always be focused and keep detailed records of everything.

GL: What is the next big thing on your business agenda?

Navneet: We are in process of launching our company app for varied services which will promote ease of doing business for all business owners. Also, stakeholders will have access to our services through the application from anywhere in the world.
